Play your PC games on the living-room TV
If your TV or TV box has a modern web browser, it can be a MoonlightWeb client: your gaming PC streams to the big screen. No app to install — just a URL.
What works best
- A recent browser with hardware video decoding. The experience depends on the browser of the TV or of the TV box: the more recent it is, the better the stream.
- A gamepad. Plugged in over USB or paired over Bluetooth, it completes the couch setup. Or just the remote: on an Android TV box, in TV Bro's Direct navigation, its arrows and OK get around the pages and play, and holding OK opens the stream's menu.
- A good link to the TV. Ethernet or 5 GHz Wi-Fi keeps the picture sharp and the delay low.
No address bar? Type a code instead
Some TV browsers make a long link painful to type with a remote. Once Internet access is turned on, your host has a code — the end of its link. Search for MoonlightWeb, open Connect, type the code, and the browser opens your host. It remembers the last one for next time.
Set it up in three steps
Install MoonlightWeb on the gaming PC
Windows, macOS (Apple Silicon) or Linux — follow the install guide for your system. That PC is the only machine with something to install.
Open it in the TV's browser
Type the PC's address on your network, or its code on the Connect page. Your PC is already listed: type the PIN it shows, once — the TV is now trusted for good.
Grab the controller
Pick a game or the whole desktop, go fullscreen, and play from the couch.
